"What is the best part about being a birth mom? What is the hardest part?"

For me, the hardest part of being a birth mom was probably at the very beginning when I walked into the hospital carrying a child and then walked out without one. I felt like a piece of me was missing, then I got acclimated to being a birth mom. The best part of being a birth mom is getting to watch my child thrive in a situation that is better than what I could have been given to him otherwise. Seeing the fruits of such a selfless and extremely hard decision, and getting to be a part of that decision by remaining in your child's life, is such a wonderful part of being a birth mom.
