"Where do I even begin with finding an agency? What specific things should I look for?"
There are so many agencies out there, it can be overwhelming to know where to start. Referrals are valuable, and you can check out BraveLove's list of agencies - all of which have been carefully vetted. Basically, you want an agency that is going to advocate for you and your needs, and you want one that is going to stand by you through the entire adoption process (even after the papers have been signed).
