At age 16, Rick and his girlfriend found themselves in an unplanned pregnancy and were faced with a tough decision. It wasn't until they learned about the idea of open adoption that they began to consider it. It's now been 17 years since they placed their daughter Belle for adoption. Rick has been very involved in his daughters life and she was even a bridesmaid in his wedding!
