When Sarah was 24, she found out she was pregnant. She always wanted to be a mom but was overcome by fear when this reality came so unexpectedly. She knew immediately this path was going to be difficult, but wanted to do what was best for her son. Sarah chose to place her son with a loving family through adoption! This journey brought them closer than they ever imagined possible. I worked at a Crisis Pregnancy Center. It is very difficult to engage clients in even talking about adoption because of the many myths and misconceptions they have. Unfortunately many will even choose abortion over adoption. Which is SO difficult to understand. This film was EXCELLENT! I especially enjoyed the pictures of Sarah with her son as he was older and with the family she chose. Often times moms do see adoption as giving away, but this film truly does show all that was gained by Sarah. My favorite line was when April called birth mothers like Sarah heroes. They truly are. Thank you!

As parents of 3 open adoptions we have 1 birth parents that choose to continue to be involved. We get together at least once a year with them and our sons older siblings. We enjoy each other and love each other as very good friends.
