We believe that adoption is not the end, but the beginning of a beautiful and often difficult journey. We want to share your greatest wishes as a way to encourage birth moms during what has the potential to be a difficult season.
They were truly the light that helped overcome such a dark time in my life. I didn’t “lose” Olivia, if anything I gained three of the most beautiful people, inside and out, that I am so grateful to have in my life. They have become two of the people I want to share my happiest news with and who I lean on for support during more trying times.
Single parenting for 7 weeks reinforced my adoption decision
I placed my daughter Zoe for adoption 11 years ago. I was 17 at the time and ready for my senior year in high school, and Zoe’s birth dad was 23. I decided I wanted to place her for adoption as I knew I wasn’t able to provide for her the way a parent needs to.
When Adrianne found out she was pregnant she thought her life was over. She never imagined adoption being an option for her. It wasn't until her mom placed a packet of information about adoption on her bed that she realized the pros of adoption actually outweighed the cons.
