Unplanned pregnancies happen and every person's story is different, personal and their own. As you watched the video, we hope it expanded your perspective and helped you recognize that we've all been impacted, either directly or indirectly, by the brave love of a birth mother who wanted the best for her child and chose adoption.

It takes a lot of humility, sacrifice and courage to choose adoption when confronted by an unplanned pregnancy. A woman’s decision to place for adoption is not easy and does not mean she did not want or love her child. But sometimes the world says otherwise.

My husband and I were very fortunate to be able to adopt twin boys. The young mother who contacted us was unable to provide care for these boys and felt adoption was the answer. We were so excited and honored for this opportunity to expand our family. She wanted me to tell the boys she loved them. We paid for the adoption and began this adventure. The boys are now 10 and we would be lost without them. Our daughter is graduating high school this year and is always on the run. Our boys keep us busy and on our toes. Blessed!

Dear birth mom you are doing a very courageous act of unselfish love for your baby by giving him to and adoptive family. . I was adopted 61 years ago and my grandson was adopted this year, and have been doubly blessed by 2 birth moms!

Dee Appleton I was adopted 57 years ago, I know it was a hard choice, it was done out of love for my birth mom had just come the USA as a very young lady. She knew she loved me enough to know that when I would be born that she could not provide me with the life she wanted for me which was better than she had. You are not a bad person for putting your child up for adoption but you are giving her or him a better chance in life. You still will have have an impact on your childs life you give them their trait hair, eye, nationality, spirit. YOU GIVE THEM THE GIFT OF LIFE. God bless you

Dear Birth Mothers, you are an inspiration to me and I am so thrilled that you have chosen adoption! If it were not for adoption back in 1925, my Nana wouldn’t have been adopted and my family wouldn’t exist in the form its in today. Her adoption story is very unknown due to the time period, laws and secrecy of the time. It is apart of my lineage and I’m grateful to adoption. As a filmmaker, I chose to write stories of true human emotion, encouragement and sacrifice all for the greater good. My recent film is inspired by my Nana’s adoption and because of it, I am able to work with adoption organizations to share others stories. You are loved, you are wanted, you are prayed for! One of the most generous, loving and selfless things a mother can do is recognize when she is unable to care for her precious baby and allows him/her to go to a loving home. My husband is such a beautiful man and I can’t imagine this world without him. I’m grateful to his birth and adoptive mom every day for giving him life and love💗 Thank you to all birth and adoptive moms…a baby is born for a reason…that child has a purpose please give him/her the chance they deserve to fulfill their destiny 💗

Dear Birth mother, you are a precious person to save the life of your child and to give life to anothe family. You will never regret this. Besides the life that you have chosen to save you are part of God’s plan . Without you this couldn’t happen. You have my support and if you ever need to talk or just need anything at all please let me know. I got my grand son when he was 3 wks old..and now he is 3 yrs old what a journey we have had and a blessing it has been.I wasn’t thinking about starting over again.but you know after he came into are life.we have change and we have grown.with him the last three yrs.I wouldn’t change it for the world..I love it when he calls out your name and comes running up to you and gives you the biggest bear hug he can..and say those words I have miss you.and I love you…That is all I need to keep going on.He is our light.he is our every moment he is our every thing..We just love him so much

One week shy of three years today, our beautiful granddaughter was born. Her mom and dad were not able to give her the life they wanted. And after 17 months, they gave the second best gift of all. Their daughter being adopted by us. Words can’t tell that, in so much of all this; I’m sure these parents’ heart aches and still does forever, but also smile big! I can’t love them both enough for doing what they did for their little girls’ future. I know no one ever tells them the good they have done, so mom and dad, from the other mom and dad (plus grandparents), THANK YOU!

And thank you to others whom gave more than life, they gave a future! !!

My youngest son is adopted, and is so incredible! His birth parents are angels, and we all have no doubts about whether we did the right thing! I quit my job as an RN, and wrote a series of books about our Adopted Beloved! Our lives would be so different if not for the unselfish love of his birth parents…we are so very grateful! ❤️❤️❤️
