Unplanned pregnancies happen and every person's story is different, personal and their own. As you watched the video, we hope it expanded your perspective and helped you recognize that we've all been impacted, either directly or indirectly, by the brave love of a birth mother who wanted the best for her child and chose adoption.

It takes a lot of humility, sacrifice and courage to choose adoption when confronted by an unplanned pregnancy. A woman’s decision to place for adoption is not easy and does not mean she did not want or love her child. But sometimes the world says otherwise.

I have and always will love my bio mom Marlene. She made the choice to let me live and give me to a family that couldn’t have a child of their own, I was her first and only pregnancy. I found her when I was in my early 20’s and am so glad that I can share my life now with her. I love you mom and hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day!!!

I am the Mom of a 7yr old little boy who has changed my life forever. He is and always has been loved and wanted. He has always known that he is adopted and that many made sacrifices to make this happen…. especially his birth mom. I will forever be grateful for her selflessness and how brave she was to ‘choose life’ in the midst of a tough situation. I loved our son, even before I laid eyes on him for the first time. I tell him he was born out of his birth mom’s belly, but I carried him in my heart. Our family is so blessed because he is a part of it! The Mom who chooses adoption is so brave and her selfless sacrifice of unconditional love is giving another family a gift that blesses beyond words. #ForeverGrateful #AdoptionBraveHeart

I too was a birth mother when I was barely 17. I have been extremely fortunate to know my daughter who is 35 years old now. Not all stories turn out like mine and even knowing what I know about her life with her adoptive parents, it’s hard to know if you made the right choices. You have to trust the process and know that things will all work the way they are supposed to. It’s scary handing your baby over to another family. I can tell you I had to pray a lot that everything would turn out right and then release her. Putting your baby up for adoption is one of the bravest, selfless acts of love you can ever do. Pray for them daily as they embark in their new life and for yourself to find comfort in healthy ways. Stay strong. God bless!

Dear Birthmom, I am forever grateful for the sacrifices made by my son’s BM and all the BM like you.
