Introduced a birth mom to thousands last Saturday

Last Saturday, January 18th, we had the opportunity to speak at the Dallas March for Life Rally. It was an honor to be a part of this HUGE event in downtown Dallas and to get to talk about adoption to thousands. Literally, thousands.

blog_jan-rally.JPG“BraveLove is a movement to raise awareness that adoption is a loving option for those facing an unplanned pregnancy, ” said Laura Anderson, BraveLove’s Director of Operations. “Did you know out of all unplanned pregnancies, less than 2% result in adoption? A woman who chooses to place her child for adoption is someone we can all stand behind and support. BraveLove seeks to champion birth mothers, and we hope you’ll join us in celebrating these heroes…”

Then we went on to introduce our friend Janice, “Over 17 years ago, she made the decision to endure nine months of pregnancy and then lovingly place her son for adoption. Please give Janice a warm welcome as she shares how adoption has impacted her life.”

Janice bravely told her story to the 5,000+ crowd and then shared how she recently got to meet her son. “The first thing he said to me was ‘thank you.’”
