That's a tough scenario - this new name you take on as a birth mother. Each journey is different. As you build a relationship with your child's adoptive parents you will all begin to figure out what best works for you. There may be times through your journey that you want regular visits and updates, and then there will be times that you need your space and time to heal. Being a birth mother makes you no less of a mother, you've done just what a mother is supposed to do - love unconditionally.
