We met Noelle in 2022 at a birth mom retreat, and from the very beginning, her compassion for others, upbeat spirit, and genuine joy stood out to us. Since then, we’ve shared Noelle’s video several times and have seen firsthand how deeply her story continues to resonate and impact others.
We were so excited to catch up with Noelle and hear how life has been unfolding for her. We’re grateful she took the time to share this update—and we can’t wait for you to hear from her, too.
Q: What does your life look like these days?
A: Busy days at this stage of life. My son (12) plays sports so we stay busy with activities.
Q: What does a pretty typical day look like for you now?
A: I work Monday through Friday as a caregiver for seniors. I go to their home and help them in whatever ways I can so that they can maintain their independence in their own home. It truly is my dream job!
Q: What are some things in your life right now that bring you a lot of joy?
A: My job! Spending my days with men and women who have seen things in their lifetimes that I’ve only read about or seen in movies, it’s like being with celebrities everyday! There is always something interesting to learn from them.
Another thing is spending time with my daughter who I placed, Olivia. We have dinner together and sometimes she comes and stays with us for the weekend. My son loves it when she comes to visit! It’s a special time of bonding and getting to know each other.

Q: When you’re not working or taking care of responsibilities, what do you love spending your time doing?
A: I love to take walks and read. At least I say I like to read but the book sits unopened beside the bed. Okay, I enjoy the thought of me reading in my free time. Haha!
Q: How do you think about your birth mother experience today — how does it fit into your life now?
A: I look back and see the hand of God in all of it. From small details to large. I have so much to look back on during those days and see all the ways in which the Lord was faithful to me. That has strengthened my faith and helped strengthen my trust in the Lord. I know He’s good and He’s beyond proven it in my life!
Q: What’s something you wish people understood better about birth mothers?
A: There is no set mold for a birth mom or her particular journey that led her to choose adoption.
Q: What does your relationship with your daughter and her adoptive parents look like now?
A: We talk everyday. We have a group message for Olivia, myself, and her mom, Robin. It's a very special relationship. In some ways it feels like Robin raised me, too. She's seen me grow up. She's always kept in touch and wanted to know the big moments in my life so that she could share with Olivia. She’s such a wonderful person, woman, and mother. It’s really surreal sometimes to get a front row seat to their life and their relationship. I feel the most blessed!!!!!!!! I always dreamed about meeting my daughter, but forming a friendship and relationship with her and her family and being accepted and loved by them is the icing on the cake!!!!
