About BraveLove:

Choosing adoption is not the norm for women in unplanned pregnancies, due to stigmas and outdated stereotypes.  In fact, less than 2% of women in unplanned pregnancies place their children for adoption. BraveLove is a social movement that began in Dallas, Texas and is focused on erasing the stigmas of adoption and acknowledging birth mothers for their brave choice.

With the support of generous individuals and organizations, BraveLove creates pro-adoption media campaigns, broadcasts hopeful adoption stories, and distributes educational resources to hundreds of pregnancy centers and maternity service providers nationwide.

About the Event:

On November 4th, guests will experience a hope-filled evening as we spotlight the impact and ongoing need for BraveLove's work.  The festive evening will include drinks and hors d’oeuvres, music, remarks from BraveLove’s leaders and supporters, and an opportunity to showcase our latest films.  All proceeds from the fundraising event will go towards expanding BraveLove’s reach across America. 

This is a semi-private event.  That means the majority of the attendees will be invited as a guest by a Table Host. They will be assigned to their Host's table and get to enjoy the company of their friends throughout the night. 

A smaller portion of the tables will be reserved for general seating.  These spots will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis and an RSVP is required in advance. 

Because of the generosity of BraveLove's Sponsors and Hosts, there is no cost for guests to attend. Though we kindly ask people to RSVP by November 1st. 

Note: At this time, we are planning for 200 guests to attend and are making accommodations so our guests feel safe and healthy in the company of others.  

How You Can Help:

Table Host

• Each table comfortably seats 8 people. (This includes Table Hosts.) We encourage Table Hosts to be intentional about inviting those they think would support this mission, and/or have never attended a BraveLove event in the past. 
  
  
  • Note: Tables will be spaced out at the event so we can practice social distancing. All guests will be assigned a table with their respective Table Host (unlike previous BraveLove events where it's been open seating).

Table Sponsor

• Donate $600 towards the event by specifically underwriting a table
  
  
• The Table Sponsor's name will be prominently displayed on the table, i.e. "This table has been sponsored by ________."  We can even include a snapshot of your story or connection to BraveLove. 
  
  
• This is great for those who are out-of-town and cannot attend the in-person event

Common Questions:

Are you offering a Livestream option for those who cannot attend this event in person?

A portion of this Dallas event will be Livestreamed. For those who cannot attend in person, we will be encouraging people to register for our Special Event Access, which is on the same night (Thursday, November 4th). Those who register for this will get a private, early access link in which they can watch the program short films, hear from guest speakers and BraveLove staff that night.

What are you doing to accommodate for social distancing?

This event is not open to the public. All guests must RSVP in advance to attend. We are limiting our numbers to 200 guests even though the space at the Empire Room can accommodate much more. It's important that our guests feel safe and healthy in the company of others.  During the cocktail hour, we will take advantage of the outdoor space at the Empire Room. Inside, every guest will be assigned a specific table. These large round tables will be spaced out. Masks are encouraged, not required. For those who prefer experiencing the evening remotely, we encourage them to register for our Special Event Access. Those details and links will be coming soon.

If I am a Table Host, how do I invite my friends? And then how do I register my confirmed guests?

Once you're confirmed as a Table Host, you will tell us if you want hard copies of the invitation or a digital copy or both.  You know your people best. Sometimes an email or text invite does the trick! For others, having the physical invitation in hand is what helps them remember.

You will register your confirmed guests by emailing Ashley at [email protected] and providing her with the first and last names of your guests.

If I just want to attend the event as a guest (and not Host or Sponsor), how do I do RSVP?  Also, how would I invite my friends since space is limited?

We would love to have you and your friends join us! It's on a first-come, first-serve basis. RSVP here.  Seating is limited so once that registration opens, share the registration link ASAP so they can get a seat.
